Well, my grandmother's marriage record says she was born in Rio Janeira and
for the life of me and Joao Ventura we have not been able to find her
baptism record ca 1883-85. So this is interesting to me. Of course, her
father's name is partially incorrect on the record....but her mother's is
correct. Is there really a Rio De Janeiro in Sao Miguel?????????? She came
to the US ca 1899 illegally and that is another very interesting and long
story.
