For anyone who has the Flores marriage book: We're in Salt Lake City, helping someone pretty new to genealogy. He has a couple, Jacob Jacobs and wife Mary (probably Maria), who married in Flores, before 1863 or 1864. He does not have the freguesia. They died in California, but those early records only name Flores. We were thinking with a name like Jacobs, he came from somewhere else and may be easier to find in the Flores marriage book.
