Hi, Not sure if this is what you are looking for my Mom who was from
S.Miguel use to make this soup with linguica and kale:
kale leaves(cut in strips)
cabbage (shredded)
beef soup bone with meat
linguica
bacon
chopped garlic (4 cloves)
1 onion( chopped)
and some white potatoes
salt and pepper to taste
She would boil beef, linguica, bacon onion, garlic, in water. When meat
was done she would add the kale, when the kale was tender add cabbage
and potatoes boil until the potatoes are done she would serve the
meats in a platter and the broth in soup bowls; we would eat with
homemade bread.
