Ally,

According to the 1957 Pleasanton phone book , there are no Furtado families
listed. The 1940 census also lists no Furtado in town. The 1930 shows
Manuel and Mary Furtado, children Mary born in 1926 in Rhode Island,
Edward, b. 1929, and John b. 1930 in California. It says Mary was born
1905, Azores, and immigrated in 1921.

Saw your note at work, maybe next trip.
