Do not travel the Azores by boat without a good supply of seasickness meds.  
The boats are designed for cargo, not for people.  They rock and roll 
excessively.  

I took Dramamine before a 4 hour trip. I had given the rest of the pills away 
before we were even out of the harbor!  The crew was very solicitous and passed 
out sick bags and promptly collected the used ones which they threw overboard.

The bags were blue.  We called the trip the Blue Bag Special.
