I guess you would have to define what you mean by a woman first.  But I'd
say there was nothing typical about any immigration scenario.

I've seen some with parents (I'd call them kids or teens), I've seen some
with their husbands, with an older or younger SIBLING, alone, etc.

My ancestor came in 1901, aged 13, with her 16 year old sister.  Their
sponsor in America was a male cousin (the 16 year old later married him).

Not much help :(
