Thanks so much. Just to complete the picture as I know it. Rosa Tavares, my
grandmother, married Manuel Jesse Estrella in Fall River on 27 Oct 1913.
His basic info is as follows:
Birth: 4 June 1889 *in* Rabo de Peixe, Sao Miguel, Azores,
Portugal Death: 15
Sep 1961 *in* Cumberland, Rhode Island, USA He applied for a passport on 15
June 1901 (info found on Azores Knowledge Ctr). His parents, married in
approx. 1883, were Manuel Jacintho Estrella, b. Apr 1864, Rabo de Peixe,
and Filomena Adelaide Cordeiro, b. Apr 1862, Calhetas. They both came to
Fall River in 1901-1902 time period, Manuel first in 1901 with older sons
and Filomena in 1902 with 8 other children. I have names of their parents
but no other information. Any further assistance would be welcomed.
