You should have shown us the whole record. It is now clear that what we thought was 1674, is in fact 1874, and we could have easily figured that out if we had seen parts of the whole record.

He is 20 yrs old, single, Campones, son of Manuel Jacintho Duarte nat of Povoacao and Maria Quiteria nat of Maia, Divino Espirito Santo. She is daughter of Antonio de Medeiros and Luiza do Espirito Santo Margarida, born on Jan 1-1852 and bap- Jan 13, in same month and year in Povoacao, Mae de Deus, daughter of Antonio de Medeiros nat of Mae de Deus, Povoacao and Luiza de Medeiros, nat of Maia, Divino E.S., paternal of Jose de Medeiros and Thomazia Rosa, and Maternal of Joao de Medeiros and Maria do Couto; Godparents- Manuel P. Medeiros and his spouse Vincencia Carolina, all from this said church. That's the essence of most of what is there. You are going to have check some records to ensure there is not an error somewhere, as it appears the mother of Maria does not match up with the mother in the other records.
