Hi Margaret, I also have Arruda from Capelas. I am a descendant of Maria da Costa Arruda married in Capelas on 5 jan 1667 (CCA #8) with Manuel Ferraz. This line goes back to Gonçalo Vaz Botelho, o Grande.
