My Sephardic Jewish side came from Morocco to Terceira. Some lived in Lisbon, two "sons" went to Brazil, and "my" direct line went to Boston, Mass. There were some who lived in Holland until they were forced out and went to England where they were more tolerant of Jews. The names are Seriqui, Benarus, Bensabat, Alflalo, and a bunch of others I can't think of from the top of my head. - Shirl -
