yes he did go back home 23 days after being naturalized, and himself, Antone S. Perry,(Antonio Silveira Pereira), wife Mary Perry(Maria Leal da Rosa), and my Ggreat grandmother Mary Perry age 4(Maria Pereira). Their names all changed to perry I'm assuming after naturalization. They all returned May 17th, 1902 in NY aboard the ship Peninsular. So if I know when and where they came, can I go from that to his naturalization, to passport, that might pinpoint where he was from to hopefully figuring out if the man I think I have in cedros is actually the right man?
