Hi Ubirajara,

If your people left the Azores in the the 1500 or 1600 or 1700s, that
explains why your Family Finder matches are in the more distant cousin
range.  The records for the Azores aren't very good in the 1500s.  I think
the earliest passaportes leaving the Azores start for the port of Angra in
the 1700s, but I'd have to double check my notes.  Some of the Brasilian
researchers on this list may know of records from the centuries you mention
coming into Brasil.

Your perfect FMS (Full Mitochondrial Sequence) test is interesting.  But to
match Todd B. on this (or anyone on your Family Finder results), you need
to upload your Gedcom.  Your "Most Distant Ancestors" aren't filled out
either.  It only says Portugal.  It would help your matches if you could
fill this out when you get a chance!
