Oh dear!  I was afraid to even ASK if the records were lost.  I didn't want to 
even entertain such a thought.  NOOOOOOOOO!!!!  

So, I will look again in Santa Barbara where Sebastiaom was baptized.  I hope 
when the priest guessed how old he was when he died that the priest made a 
mistake and I'll find his record.  

Manoel: I didn't   understand  the connection with the child named Belchior 
born to Manoel de Resendes and Isabel Velho And the couple Sebastiaom Jacome 
husband of Maria Da Costa.  Were these couple related?   

Thank you so much for staying with me and continuing to guide me in this 
search.  Maybe I'll get lucky and find him today!  :). Will report!
