I have been able to run FTM 2014 with Windows 10. I also installed a recent update for FTM and it is still working. I don’t use it routinely, but it is synced with Ancestry and the sync worked, adding one update from my Ancestry tree, a person and a source.
Ancestry.com shows a message saying that it is not compatible with the new Edge browser, but I have used it to search and review hints with no problems except the message that pops up saying it is not compatible with Edge. If that’s a problem for anyone using Windows 10 (e.g., you don’t have another browser like Chrome or Firefox installed, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the Edge screen beneath the “X.” used for closing the window. Select “Open with Internet Explorer” from the menu that appears. A new window in Internet Explorer will open for the page you were on with all the functionality, bookmarks, etc., that you had in IE before the upgrade.
