Hi Carmen,

The "expostos" records from S. Sebastiao, are sterile and yield nothing
other than a number, with many name Antonios born in 1855 it's almost an
impossibility. However I came across one child named Antonio, who was
Perfilhado (legalized birth rights) in 1881.  The parents are Manuel
Carvalho de Sousa and Francisca Ludovina da Conceicao.

This may not necessarily be the right person.  You will have to collect all
of this couple's children and pay special attention to when the surname
Carvalho comes up.  If after 1881 or close to it you may have found your
GGP.
