I have been using the spelling that appears on the record (Manoel/Manuel
whatever), yes to the spaces, and I have actually been leaving in the do das
and de's should I?

Leave out the de, da, do, etc?Use the most current spelling of the name (i.e.
Joaquim vs Joachim)?Place spaces between the date (12 Sep 1899 vs. 12Sep1899).
