I don't know why you picked Nossa Senhora da Conceicao in Santa Cruz when you only know the Azores. That's like someone saying they know their ancestor is from the United States, so they just pick Waypoint Church in Omaha, Nebraska because it happens to be in the middle of the country. I checked Nossa Senhora da Conceicao in Santa Cruz and there is no Antonio on the date you provided. Make more of a paper trail in the U.S. using the suggestions in the "how to" on the Azores GenWeb. You need to figure out if it is indeed Flores and then you need to figure out the village (freguesia).
