Sarah S, I thought this was your mom's side??? I searched the entire Flores marriage book (it's basically an index of the records that are online at the CCA) and there is no Antonio Gonçalves who married Anna anywhere on the island. There is no Antonio Gonçalves getting married in any parish on the island of Flores.
You'll need to do more U.S. research. If you are SURE he's from Flores, then he's dropped a name and you'll need to find out what that name is.
