I do believe this is the same Matias and Maria Antonia in all of these records from Sé and Porto Judeu on Terceira and from Ribeiras on Pico, but I am never 100% sure of anything. I am also not sure of the name Falcão because it is not clear to me in either record. I do see the compound surname of Machado Falcão on the Terceira marriage index in Porto Judeu; but not with the first name Manuel. I have not tested MtDNA, but even if I had this is not my maternal line since my direct maternal line is from São Miguel where my mother’s mother is from.
