I`m trying to get some clarity for one Maria de Jesus in my files. She married and died in Sao Miguel Vila Franca do Campo. Her death record on 10 July 1896 states she died at the age of 53 years old. That makes her birth year c.1843, but that would make her 11 years old at marriage.
