Terri, The record states the different dates and places of baptism for the Joao and Maria, who were both Expostos; Joao on Mar 9th 1834 baptized same day in Candelaria. Maria baptized in Sao Sebastiao de Ponta Delgada … days of of the month of January of 1844.
The document is a legitimization record for these two exposto children on their father’s deatch bed as declared in the hour of his death recognizing them and marrying/receiving their Mother ……… marriage … book 8 of this Parish pages 113….
