Hi there,

One of my machines fails to back up - it is a wireless laptop. I could
plug it in to the network for backups but that would be slightly more
inconvenient than wireless as the location I like to have it doesn't
have a LAN connection. I frequently get this error in the backuppc
log:

--
Call timed out: server did not respond after 20000 milliseconds
listing \Documents\P\*
--

I did a ping for quite a while from the backuppc to the laptop and
these are the results:

--- laptop ping statistics ---
3870 packets transmitted, 3679 received, 4% packet loss, time 3885468ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 1.389/51.233/14490.981/558.785 ms, pipe 15
---

Is my wireless network too unreliable for backuppc?

Thanks,
Mark.
