Now it’s work,

What i have done, I set the main config file with rsyncd transfert instead
of smb and it started working as expected. I don’t know why but it’s like
the override for the transfer is not working correctly uder some
circumstance

Thanx for your help

Jonathan

I suggest you examine the setting $Conf{RsyncdUserName}, it sounds like it's
not populated properly. Perhaps it doesn't have proper single quotes around
it ('username'), I know that some of the variables had the wrong character
(`username` is not the same as 'username') in the Debian package.

Because my old backuppc server is able to do the backup.

OK, then perhaps you didn't set the same rsyncd username with the new
backuppc server?

Yes. This is the same. I realy don’t know what is the problem. It’s like the
backuppc server doesn’t send the username to the rsyncd. In my log file,
when I use my old installation I see:

User [EMAIL PROTECTED] but with the new I see user unknown only.
