Thanks for replying Nils. From the thread I was reading that rsync 3.0.3 has fixed many problems, in particular memory. Using ver2.6.9 and I have had Windows system blue screen, ie crash. Regards Peter

I don't know where you could find it, but there is no advantage to using rsync 3.x instead of 2.6.9 with BackupPC at this moment.
