I recently installed both BackupPC and Jeffrey's script, so I feel your pain :-)
I just updated the wiki at http://backuppc.wiki.sourceforge.net/User+Scripts+-+Client+-+Windows+VSS with a list of prerequisites, and some usage notes based on my own experience. I also uploaded Jeffrey's latest version of the script. David, once you get it going, feel free to update the wiki based on your own experience. Yell if you have more problems... Hope that helps... I'm sure I'm not the only one who needs a little more instruction. It seems to me that if this works well, it should be the default way to handle windows - looking at the logs I see that I'm currently always missing a few files due to locks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ BackupPC-users mailing list BackupPC-users@lists.sourceforge.net List: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/backuppc-users Wiki: http://backuppc.wiki.sourceforge.net Project: http://backuppc.sourceforge.net/
