Running a second BackupPC server is an interesting approach, but won't
work in this case. The storage I have is dumb, i.e. I can use
`sftp`, `rsync` & `rclone` and `borg` and a few others, but I cannot run
other processes there.
`rclone crypt` doesn't seem to work. It seems to me that this mode is
unable to just pick up new and deleted files and transfer them, it just
runs for days on end.
I tried `rsync` off a local `gocryptfs` mount, and while promising, it
made me realise that `cpool` should not be a problem to sync, but every
backup creates a massive hierarchy under `pc/*/xxxx/f%2f/` anew. I have
not tried `--fuzzy` to help with the fact that most of the files
thereunder are already present on the remote.
I am currently giving `borgbackup` a shot, as it seems to be able to
deduplicate locally and talk to the remote server to figure out what
actually needs to be transferred.
