Hi

i try to configure bacula to backup data to a Sony StorStation LIB-81
autochanger (200GB/520GB AIT4). The System I use is Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 "Etch".

If I run btape -c /etc/bacula/bacula-sd.conf -f /dev/sg3 the following error
appear:

Tape block granularity is 1024 bytes.
btape: butil.c:272 Using device: "/dev/sg3" for writing.
17-Okt 13:37 btape: 3301 Issuing autochanger "loaded drive 0" command.
17-Okt 13:37 btape: 3302 Autochanger "loaded drive 0", result is Slot 1.
17-Okt 13:37 btape: 3301 Issuing autochanger "loaded drive 0" command.
17-Okt 13:37 btape: 3302 Autochanger "loaded drive 0", result is Slot 1.
btape: btape.c:338 open device "Sony LIB-81 AIT4" (/dev/sg3): OK
*auto

Ah, I see you have an autochanger configured.
To test the autochanger you must have a blank tape
that I can write on in Slot 1.

Do you wish to continue with the Autochanger test? (y/n): y

=== Autochanger test ===

3301 Issuing autochanger "loaded" command.
Slot 1 loaded. I am going to unload it.
3302 Issuing autochanger "unload 1 0" command.

Can anyone help me to configure bacula correctly?

Best wishes
Stefan
