Hi Chris,

could it be that your script eject the tape after run it?

If I do a mtx -f /dev/sg3 status now the following output appears:

mtx -f /dev/sg3 status
  Storage Changer /dev/sg3:1 Drives, 8 Slots ( 0 Import/Export )
Data Transfer Element 0:Full (Unknown Storage Element Loaded)
      Storage Element 1:Full :VolumeTag=A0ECXL
      Storage Element 2:Full :VolumeTag=A0ECXR
      Storage Element 3:Full :VolumeTag=A0ECXQ
      Storage Element 4:Full :VolumeTag=A0ECXP
      Storage Element 5:Full :VolumeTag=A0ECXN
      Storage Element 6:Full :VolumeTag=A0ECXM
      Storage Element 7:Empty
      Storage Element 8:Full

And I can not load any tape with the command

mtx -f /dev/sg3 load 7 0
Drive 0 Full (Storage Element 0 loaded)

Greetings
Stefan
