"Still, it seems to my limited mind, that if Baha'u'llah was omniscient (even at will , whatever that means) then there woudl be no reason for Him to "agonize" since He wouuld know 100% for sure that He would triumph completely."
Dear Ron, You are ignoring two very important points. 1) It was damn uncomfortable in the Siyal-Chal, whatever one might know about the end of it all. 2) What 'omniscient at will' implies for me is that most of the time He did *not* try to access supernatural omniscience. "The same applies to Jesus, His sufferingsuffering on the Cross would be made meaningless if He knew all along He was God and etc etc etc." Really? That is a bit like saying no one would mind getting their hand cut off so long as they knew someone could sew it back on. No, thank you! warmest, Susan __________________________________________________ You are subscribed to Baha'i Studies as: mailto:archive@mail-archive.com To unsubscribe, send a blank email to mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To subscribe, use subscribe bahai-st in the message body to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Baha'i Studies is available through the following: Mail - mailto:bahai-st@list.jccc.edu Web - http://list.jccc.edu/read/?forum=bahai-st News - news://list.jccc.edu/bahai-st Public - http://www.escribe.com/religion/bahaist Old Public - http://www.mail-archive.com/bahai-st@list.jccc.net New Public - http://www.mail-archive.com/bahai-st@list.jccc.edu
