Sorry, I think I misunderstood what you wrote. You do not believe that Jesus's teachings are outdated, so in this context, and only this context, you believe that there would be no need for Muhammad. Nevertheless, you believe that the true Gospel was lost, so there was, in this context, a need for Muhammad.
