> How do
> we understand supernatural knowledge as distinct from omniscience?

Dear Marleen,

I assume that by supernatural knowledge the Guardian was referring to
the fact that Abdu'l-Baha had knowledge of things which He did not
learn in the usual manner. The Guardian did not give any indicate as
to the limits of Abdu'l-Baha's knowledge. I'm distinguishing it from
omnscience because the Guardian didn't indicate that Abdu'l-Baha knew
absolutely everything.

> How

Do we need to? Can't we just let religion be religion and science be
science as the One Common Faith document suggests?

 If infallibility isn't about
> propositional
> inerrancy, how is it defined?

Have you read my essay on this topic?
http://infallibility.susanmaneck.com/

My understanding is that infallibility is a moral quality and that the
one who possesses it acts in accordance with the will of God.

Why do some Bahais believe in the
> literal
> infallibility of every statement of Abdul-Baha (What is the
> scriptural
> authority for this?)?

You're asking me for the scriptural authority for a position I don't
hold. But as far as the scriptural authority of Abdu'l-Baha's
infallibility that is based on Abdu'l-Baha's own statements and
assertions.

warmest, Susan
