IIRC, each cubic foot of Bakken gas averages 1700 BTUs. The price for
Natural gas on the NYMEX is quoted per MM BTUs (1 million BTUs).
Wellhead gas is not ready for market. It must pass through a
processing facility where water, impurities and marketable by-products
are filtered out and the gas is compressed to be introduced into the
pipeline system. Therefore, well production figures do not exactly
correspond to the market spot or futures price indices.

Does anyone have a reference to the wellhead price on natural gas?
