Hi all, can someone tell me the difference between gross mineral acres
and net mineral acres? in most of our leases we have more gross acres
& the companies list the gross acres on the lease BUT we only get paid
for the net mineral acres???? seems odd to me? also does anyone know;
how do you know exactly how many mineral acres you actually have in a
given section? we've allways looked at old leases to figure this, but
maybe we are wrong.
