The rig on the Wil E. Coyote well is H&P 172. I've heard several
conflicting versions of their problems. The curve and lateral
might be even more interesting!

Just to the southeast of the Coyote well, Contintental has been
drilling with Cyclone 23. November 1, will be their 90th day
on location! Their entire crew will be elgible to vote at the
the local precinct! ha They did have a major problem during the
cementing of their long string casing which set them back about
a month. The good news is that they have had a nice size flare
burning while drilling the horizontal section. This, according to
the Continental website, is a Sanish/Three Forks test.

Between these two holes, Burlington and Nabors rig 177 drilled
a two-mile lateral in just 23 days! Go figure. Some have good
luck; some make good luck; and some apparently have no luck at all.
