Wil E. Coyote. what an appropriate name. not only for this current
dig, but for the company in general.

and after reading the BSIC Investorvillage board over the last few
years, the continual irrational stock purchase recommendation optimism
no matter what. the adaptive expectations. the apparently ongoing pump
and dump by a few posters. the very searchable past of some of these
posters, and the fact that the very dubious promotional firm,
QualityStocks.net, and that VERY searchable record, and disclaimer of
theirs, i will not be surprised to see this one pit in a typical
"performance", lose the full 98% of it's value from where
QualityStocks.net first came on the scene with their Youtube video,
8/15/08. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SvcPM1CWDk

found this rather appropriate entry which not only fits the company,
management, but poster on message boards, courtesy of wikipedia.org...

In "Chuck Amuck: The Life and Times Of An Animated Cartoonist", it is
claimed that Chuck Jones and the artists behind the Road Runner and
Wile E. cartoons adhered to some simple but strict rules:
Road Runner cannot harm the Coyote except by going "beep, beep".
No outside force can harm the Coyote -- only his own ineptitude or the
failure of Acme products.
The Coyote could stop anytime -- IF he was not a fanatic. (Repeat: "A
fanatic is one who redoubles his effort when he has forgotten his
aim." —George Santayana).
No dialogue ever, except "beep, beep".
Road Runner must stay on the road -- for no other reason than that
he's a roadrunner.
All action must be confined to the natural environment of the two
characters -- the southwest American desert.
All tools, weapons, or mechanical conveniences must be obtained from
the Acme Corporation.
Whenever possible, make gravity the Coyote's greatest enemy.
The Coyote is always more humiliated than harmed by his failures.
The audience's sympathy must remain with the Coyote.

on a second note, this announced buyback, and note the fact that there
are a couple of the Investorvillage posters have oversized.
underwater, and very illiquid positions in shares of BSIC... anyone
else have the notion that Basic Earth Energy Systems buys back
someone's shares in one big block? someone who might be a bit strapped
for cash and in a serious liquidity crunch?
