Mba udah coba dikompres dengan air hangat ??
Treatment mba untuk banyak minum air putih & banyak istirahat sudah bener.
Obat penurun panas sebaiknya diberikan ketika anak demam mencapai 38.5
lebih. Kl masih dibawah itu cukup ditreatment minum yg banyak & dikompres
dengan menggunakan air hangat.
O..ya coba dipantau ttg demamnya & dicatat tiap 3 jam sekali.
Kl menurut saya sih AB tidak diperlukan untuk saat ini.
Cough Medicine Abuse

As if parents didn't have enough to worry about, including teens drinking
alcohol, smoking cigarettes, and abusing prescription and traditional drugs
(marijuana, ecstasy, heroin, methamphetamines, cocaine, etc.), they now
have to be concerned about their kids abusing cold and cough medicines.
More and more, experts are reporting that teens are abusing
over-the-counter cold medicines with dextromethorphan (DXM).
The FDA states that 'although DXM, when formulated properly and used in
small amounts, can be safely used in cough suppressant medicines, abuse of
the drug can cause death as well as other serious adverse events such as
brain damage, seizure, loss of consciousness, and irregular heart beat.'
In fact, there have been five recent deaths of teenagers that may be
associated with the abuse of DXM.
Although some teens simply overdose themselves on over-the-counter
medicines with dextromethorphan, others are buying pure DXM in powdered
form from dealers and on the internet.

Dear Smart Parents,
Mo sharing nih, kedua anakku Shafa (5 tahun) dan Lubna (3tahun). Sejak 3
hari yang lalu kena batuk berdahak & pilek disertai demam. Aku bertahan
untuk treatment sendiri di rumah. Dengan kasih obat penurun panas, minum
banyak air putih dan istirahat. Karena aku pikir kalo influenza dan batuk
harus daya tahan tubuh sendiri yang harus melawannya. Tapi setelah 3 hari
panasnya tak kunjung turun, akhirnya aku bawa ke dokter dan diberi obat
batuk & pilek, antibiotic dan obat penurun panas. Kira2 menurut smart
parents apakah tindakan saya benar, membiarkan anak sampe 3 hari baru dibawa
ke dokter. Karena kalo ke dokter memang selalu diberi antibiotic. Apakah
batuk itu sama dengan influenza yang disebabkan virus, atau disebabkan
bakteri sehingga memerlukan terapi antibiotic ?? Atau bisa disebabkan
kedua-duanya ?? Bagaimana cara membedakannya ??
