There's no SLEEPING at Barcamp!!! You're supposed to participate in all the cool activities we'll have going on and crash right before sunup. :-)
So actually - my thinking is that travelers should have a place in the wiki to post their arrival & departure times and then list a preference for what kind of accommodations they are looking for whether it be hotel (post budget), hostel, or crash with barcamper. I'm sure there are several of us who are willing to make a room available for free for traveling attendees. I see Satoko has offered and we've got at least one spare room at my condo + my office has a nice bed & bath arrangement as well. I know a little effort on the part of us locals will make the experience far easier and pleasant for travelers so if travelers post their preferences we can just individually choose to "sponsor" one or more and help them make their arrangements. Be sure and mark on the wiki if you've taken care of someone asking for help so we know who's left.
