At the start of my Soi, Phaholyothin 30 there is a recently built condo/hotel place which has nice clean AC rooms for about 700 baht a night. We use it when people visit us and need a place to stay and have never had any complaints from people. It's 2 mins from major avenue which has cinema, lots of restaurants, and villa supermarket. I guess it takes ~ 10 minutes by Taxi from my Soi to the venue. Happy to show people around, give directions etc.
