Hi

why don't you postpone the BarCamp until the political situation in Bangkok
is up to normal again. It does not make much sense to announce on the one
hand the greatest BarCamp 4 ever been in SEA and on the other side risking
to have a disasterous barcamp 3.5 which will keep sponsors away for sure for
BarCamp 4. Non of us is in control or can tell what will happen in the next
days and weeks/months in Bangkok. Until now the chaos in Bangkok isn't
solved at all and people really don't like to travel to Bangkok. Sponsors
don't want to sponsor in places which bear danger for people as it is right
now in Bangkok. It does not make any sense to risk anything as it isn't as
urgent to have a BarCamp in Bangkok but it would be nice to have a BarCamp
in Thailand - so move out of Bangkok - far away from this Chaos up and down.

Better concentrate to build up other, more reliable Locations to host a
BarCamp. Places which are save and where people still like to visit, where
sponsors are still interested in i.e. ChiangMai or Phuket. Leave Bangkok
behind and enjoy Thailand which isn't chaos at all.

For the future it will be really advised to have an outside Bangkok Location
which is far enough away from this up and downs. A place where new things
still can happen and of course a place which is free open and bears lots of
resources for new projects and creativity without fearing chaos or even loss
of life.

I suggest you postpone it to next year (for Bangkok) or even better to
relocate the Barcamping in Thailand out of the big Bangkok region, but in a
region which still is accessible for people from other countries
(International Airport). So ChiangMai or Phuket would be the best locations
for this to make it happen. Both places and infrastructure have enough
locations where a BarCamp could be hosted. I personally would suggest
Phuket! Get in contact with the people from Software Park and PSU, Rajabath
University here and forget about Bangkok (for now).
