Hi Bruno,
You will need to add the 10-blackberry.rules file to /etc/udev/rules.d
and make sure you have bcharge installed under /usr/sbin. Also install
the modprobe/blacklist-berry_charge under /etc/modprobe.d.
This combination results in:
- the blacklist prevents the berry_charge module from interfering
with bcharge's operation
- bcharge changes the device into charging mode and database mode
- the udev rules change the permissions of your device so you can
use it as a regular user
Normally all of this is handled automatically in the barry-util binary package,
but you're compiling from source, so you need to take care of some of these
details yourself.
