There's no problem running barrybackup as root, except that your backup files will probably be stored under /root, or may have root permissions. Since you are installing Barry from source, you will need to install the udev rules manually. Copy: udev/10-blackberry.rules # if you want charging udev/99-blackberry-perms.rules # for permissions to: /etc/udev/rules.d If your device shows 500mA in the "lsusb -v" list, then you only need the 99-blackberry-perms.rules file. - Chris ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn how Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) One Node allows customers to consolidate database storage, standardize their database environment, and, should the need arise, upgrade to a full multi-node Oracle RAC database without downtime or disruption http://p.sf.net/sfu/oracle-sfdevnl _______________________________________________ Barry-devel mailing list Barry-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/barry-devel
