There is may ways to do this, you can check using LDAP[1], you can sync the users using a script[2] or you can use a milter[3] to verify the existence of the address on Zimbra Just choose which ever is efficient for your environment For user login's just use IMAP or SMTP auth they are both very easy and cheap.
