I know we've discussed setting up baruwa with cpanel, this is a great opportunity for Andrew to get a foot in the door into that market.
The real issue with cpanel will be managing the black/white lists. I honestly would not recommend even attempting to set that up. I would go with MailScanner UI from configserver.com. We route quite a few of our client domains who are hosted on our cpanel servers through our baruwa gateways if their spam seems high. Then we deliver it to the cpanel host. The problem will be the black & white lists not being seen on baruwa. We simply tell the client that because of their high spam levels we have had to move them to a secondary server which does not provide usage to the black & white. -- Jeremy McSpadden Flux Labs, Inc | http://www.fluxlabs.net | Endless Solutions Office - 850-250-5590x101 | Cell - 850-890-2543 | Fax - 850-254-2955 -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mark Chaney Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2013 12:00 PM To: Baruwa users list Subject: [Baruwa] Baruwa 2.0 and new domain/user automation I have about 3 cpanel servers and 2 zimbra servers that are going to be using Baruwa 2 as their mail gateways. Just to confirm, the minimum info I need added to Baruwa would be the domain and its destination server. Correct? Then it can just use smtp authentication for user logins. Correct? I am not terribly concerned about creating domain admins at this point. Next, what do you think is the best method for the automation of adding the domains, their blacklists/whitelists, to baruwa? Baruwa doesnt have an api or command line option to do it, right? So I should probably just write a script that adds them directly to the appropriate postgres tables on the primary Baruwa server? Thanks again! - Mark _______________________________________________ Keep Baruwa FREE - http://pledgie.com/campaigns/12056 _______________________________________________ Keep Baruwa FREE - http://pledgie.com/campaigns/12056
