And I thought I was a pathetic no-hoper with no friends with 7000-odd
entries.

(I guess it's all to do with whether you snarf BBDB entries from Usenet
or not...)


FWIW, I agree that it would probably be a rather bad idea to change
BBDB's backend storage format, but I'm debating trying to store them in
postgresql --- not for any particular reason, just for the hell of
it. XEmacs supports PostgreSQL access natively, and I want an excuse to
use it. :)
