I, for one, do NOT want BBEdit checking every XX seconds to see if I'm using the program or not. I cherish my clock cycles, and don't want them going to such a silly purpose.

30 seconds, plus or minus. Long enough to reliably get collisions for real misuse, short enough not to be a pain in the butt.

WRT AS etc, I don't care. Count 'em, I suppose.
