i just installed fedora7 and the firmware 4 by bcm43xx_fwcutter,it's a bit different by ubuntu because i don't have the command iwconfig and iwlist scan,how can i verify the card is working properly?here there is some informations:

i have a b44ethernet card in the laptop

Fedora 7 has the configuration set properly. There are likely others as well.
