Chris has a real point about the mental health of the farmer being very important for the attitude of the shareholder. Back in the beginning when I couldn't (didn't) hire enough help or had poor help I would be stressed by the end of the season and you could see it in the shareholders. They would feel it and respond accordingly to the program.

The past several years when I'm making decent money and don't have to work my self to exhaustion, the shareholders are also happier.
