last i had heard from ti, mesh was still to be coming in our v4.4.x-ti
branch..

it also might be something we are still missing from
hostapd/wpa_supplicant, we bumped debian 8.x's hostapd up to 2.5 from 2.3
and connman to 1.31.. to better support the wl18xx out of the box.
