That's fine, unlike the Ubuntu forum :-) (which I'm not and never will be part of!) just got worried as I didn't understand - besides that would be a bit hurtful coming from guys that I think of as friends... all be it very distant ones but that's cool! > > > >>> >>> Really wierd issues, I must say ! >>> >>> What's your virtualization environment ? >>> >>> >> Kubuntu 9.04 Jaunty 64-bit as host OS running Sun Vbox 64-bit with Belenix >> in 32-bit mode, Vbox config described earlier.... >> >> System specs: 2GB main memory, 384MB video memory on Intel GM45 chipset, >> Core2Duo running at 2.1GHz clock speed, FSB @ 800MHz >> > > Is it possible for you to create a 12 GB primary partition for belenix > ? This machine with the VM has no unpartitioned space left on HD as upon install I accounted for that as it's my mothers so am just using it while she's away.... [embarrassingly] The other one which I will be back to permanently on Sunday when my parents get back from holiday has issues in that upon running ./install_belenix -reinit it managed to transition into maintenance and unfortunately disabled SSH too so I couldn't log in and capture information. Will have another look it now though! Kaya
