I'd not noticed this untill you said, but I'd like to be able to turn the progress bar off altogether.
I like to just use Elapsed Time because I have other info from the MusicInfo plugin on the top line. The option to just have Elapsed Time on it's own without a progress bar only appears on a SB1 not SB2's. I never found out if this was intentional.
